Discuss Your Exercise Options
Make strength and consistency part of your wellbeing routine. Emerging research is exploring EMS in PCOS: a small 2026 trial of 42 women reported improved quality of life with a supervised 12-week programme.
The study used a different, 30-minute electrical-stimulation protocol, so its results cannot be assumed for our studio sessions. Discuss suitable exercise with your clinician, then work with our coach on your personal fitness goals. Read the early PCOS study and its companion protocol report.
Set Your Fitness Goals
Discuss what you want from a fitness routine and how progress will be assessed.
No Insulin-Sensitivity Promise
We do not promise improvements in insulin sensitivity or PCOS symptoms from studio EMS sessions.
Check Individual Suitability
Discuss medical conditions, symptoms and exercise restrictions before booking.
Discuss Body Composition Goals
Set realistic personal goals without guaranteed changes in weight or body shape.
Understand the Session Format
Full Circle’s standard session format is 20 minutes. Discuss suitability and scheduling before starting.
Ask About Coaching
Ask about coach qualifications, supervision and how a session can be adapted or stopped.
Before Considering EMS
PCOS and other health conditions may affect your exercise choices. Follow your treating clinician’s advice; a fitness enquiry does not replace medical assessment.
Questions to Ask Before Booking
Ask about health screening before starting
Discuss diabetes or prediabetes with your treating clinician
Ask which exercise format and intensity are appropriate
Discuss scheduling and recovery
Tell the coach if you need to pause or stop
⚠️ Please consult your doctor before training if you have:
- uncontrolled diabetes or frequent low blood sugar episodes
- uncontrolled blood pressure
- dizziness, fainting, chest pain
- recent surgery or severe medical complications
- EMS fitness sessions are not PCOS treatment and do not replace medical advice. The conditions listed here are not a complete screening checklist.
Questions About EMS?
Discuss Suitability First
Ask about the fitness format, coaching and booking options. An enquiry does not establish medical suitability.

Questions Before an EMS Appointment
Ask your treating clinician about suitable exercise and any restrictions. A studio fitness consultation is not a PCOS medical consultation.
Ask about screening, coach qualifications and supervision before choosing a trial. No metabolic or hormonal outcome is promised.
If EMS is appropriate, discuss scheduling and recovery with a qualified coach. Follow your clinical team’s treatment and nutrition advice.

PCOS FAQs
Is strength training good for PCOS?
Discuss exercise choices with your care team. General strength-training advice should not be treated as proof of a PCOS-specific benefit from our EMS sessions.
Will EMS help with insulin resistance?
We do not promise an improvement in insulin resistance. Continue your prescribed care and ask your clinician about appropriate exercise.
Do I need cardio as well?
Ask your care team about a balanced activity plan suited to your health and preferences. There is no universal plan on this page.
Will this affect hormones?
We do not offer hormonal treatment or promise hormone changes. Follow your treating clinician’s guidance.
Is EMS painful?
EMS produces muscle contractions and sensations vary. Tell the coach about discomfort and stop if needed; comfort alone does not establish medical suitability.
